2019: Of around 80,000 international studies in oncology, only about 20% are in the field of immunotherapy. Due to the high degree of personalization of the treatment, it does not promise the high returns of a mass-produced medication. 
 
That it is why it is so important that private contributions support the research into these innovative therapies. Although the IOZK Foundation does benefit from some public funding for its projects, we can reach our research goals much faster and more effectively with private funding.
